Recently the Food and Drug Administration found sixteen brands of dog food that are linked to heart disease. To name a few brands includes: Acana, Taste of the Wild, Blue Buffalo, Fromm, and many more. Heart condition corelates to heart failure that can be traced to a genetic component. Unfortuantely studies suggest that golden retrievers are most prone to developing heart disease from these grain free dog foods.
